Christopher D. Ransom
Christopher D. Ransom—affectionately known as Chris—was born and raised in San Diego, California. A published author since 2022, his memoir Never Forgotten has touched lives around the globe, offering a story of resilience, hope, and overcoming a rough upbringing. His book continues to reach audiences of all ages, and he can often be found at pop-up events sharing it directly with the community.
Chris is an independent professional speaker, widely recognized for his expertise on resilience. His messages—shaped by faith, purpose, and perseverance—have been shared across diverse platforms, from the United States Air Force to churches and schools. He has preached at Mesa View Baptist Church (Sunday service and Youth Explosion), The View Church (Sunday service and Men’s Conference), and New Paradise Baptist Church. In education, Chris has inspired students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels—including Darnall Charter TK-8, Oak Crest Middle School, and high schools such as Crawford, Morse, El Camino, Coronado, Kearny, Mission Bay, and Southwest Leadership Academy in Phoenix, Arizona.
A licensed minister since 2021 and a dedicated youth coach to young Black men ages 13 through 18, Chris is passionate about helping others rise above challenges and embrace their full potential. His life’s work is driven by a commitment to faith, service, and empowering the next generation.
